TUNDRA is experienced in post-deal integration and separation project management – providing support in the fastest-growing subset of acquisitions and divestments with a focus on preserving deal value and minimising operational impact. The TUNDRA approach to Integration & Separation is to take a risk-based, cost-balanced approach to effectively manage change. TUNDRA deploys the experience of our team which spans across multiple corporate functions and operational disciplines to contribute the following services:

  • Leading both Integration and Separation projects throughout project lifecycle including producing strategy and scoping documents as part of pre-deal planning through to Legal Day 1 preparation, First 100 Days integration through to Transitional Service Agreement scoping, costing & management and final separation or handover to business as usual teams.
  • Management of project charters, plans, schedules and run sheets.
  • Identifying and deploying business readiness activities in an intentional, risk-assessed and cost effective way.
  • Facilitation of Due Diligence including early capture of long lead time activities and separation-related activities impacting SPA and other legal documents.
  • Management of cross-functional ERP system transformation projects.
  • Creation & implementation of stakeholder engagement and communications plans and associated communication materials.
  • Provision of Project Management Office (PMO) services incorporating schedule management, status reporting, document development and facilitation of workshops and meetings.
  • Bespoke services to fit the client and the transaction’s needs.

Recent Experience:

  • Integration Manager for South32’s acquisition of the Eagle Downs metallurgical coal project (joint venture with Aquila Resources).
  • Project-managed business readiness activities and lead change & engagement activities as the Separation Lead for the divestment of the TEMCO manganese smelter to GFG Alliance.
  • Transitional Services Agreement (TSA) Manager for the TSA between South32 and GFG Alliance.
  • Facilitating vendor due diligence and performing a Lead role on several other divestment projects under confidentiality agreements.
